Paulo Aguilar, CFA, CAIA
Partner and Senior Investment Advisor
With 15 years of experience in the investment management industry, Paulo works closely with affluent individuals and families, offering an array of strategies designed to address their complex financial needs.
Throughout his career, Paulo has gained expert knowledge on real estate and alternative investment strategies, using this expertise to offer clients custom solutions that meet their investment and retirement goals while providing wealth enhancement opportunities for an impactful legacy.
Prior to co-founding Wealthstone Group, Paulo held senior-level sales & client portfolio management roles at various top financial institutions and a single-family office.
Paulo graduated from City University of New York, Baruch College with a B.B.A. in Finance & Investments. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation. He holds Series 7 and 65 licenses with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
Louis Tucci
Partner and Senior Investment Advisor
Louis started his career in Financial Services in 2000, coming from an entrepreneurial background of operating other successful businesses as well as a real estate investor since 1981. Using his business experiences, Louis endeavors to help others achieve their financial independence and preserve their wealth.
Standing by the importance of investing not just in one’s own future but in society’s as well, Louis is actively involved in several community and charitable organizations. In the past, Louis has served on the Advisory Board of Bergen Community College @ The Meadowlands, Mentored veterans through the Veterans Launching Ventures program. Served on the board of Directors Lodi and Hackensack Boys and Girls Club. Louis also served as an instructor and consultant to the Rutgers Business college designing and instructing courses on strategic business planning. Louis is a frequent Keynote speaker and presenter at industry association conferences and other venues.
Louis resides in North Haledon, NJ with his wife Linda and their pet Bichon, Ashley. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family, cooking, travel, weight training and fishing.
Mark Tucker, CFA
Chief Investment Officer
Mark serves as Chief Investment Officer for Wealthstone Group where he oversees the day-to-day management of all strategies and is head of the investment committee. He is responsible for the research coverage of all sectors in our portfolios as well as the day-to-day oversight and management of trading. He has extensive experience creating and managing equity and total portfolio strategies, in addition to managing taxable assets and developing strategies to minimize taxes with the opportunity to enhance returns.
He has spoken at various industry conferences about the use of portfolio rebalancing technology, overseen the inhouse development of rebalancing software and has consulted with technology firms creating rebalancers. One of his larger passions is creating and implementing customized investment solutions in a scalable manner.
Following college, Mark started his investment career in equity research before moving to the investment management side of the business. He worked in in trading and research before transitioning to a portfolio management role. Mark has over 23 years of investment experience and 19 years of discretionary portfolio management experience. Mark most recently oversaw over $1 billion in high-net-worth client portfolios comprised of individual equities, fixed income securities, exchanged traded funds and mutual funds.
Mark is a holder of the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation, receiving his charter in 2005. A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) charter is a designation given to those who have completed the CFA® Program and completed acceptable work experience requirements. The CFA® Program is a three-part exam that tests the fundamentals of investment tools, valuing assets, portfolio management, and wealth planning.
Mark and his wife, Heather, have two children. When not in the office, Mark enjoys an occasional game of golf, spending time with his family and pursuing volunteer activities. Mark is currently the president of his homeowner’s association, former board member for his church and past board chair of his church Preschool.
